ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,475,800, issued on Nov. 18, was assigned to Honeywell International Inc. (Charlotte, N.C.).

"Systems and methods for dynamic aircraft flight path generation" was invented by Vishal Singh Verma (Bangalore, India), Rama Moorthi Munusamy (Bangalore, India), Priyanka P (Bangalore, India) and Chiranjeevi Kamireddy (Bangalore, India).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A current flight path of an aircraft is defined with respect to a two-dimensional mesh plane including a first plurality of nodes. Each node is associated with a pre-designated location. First, second, and third nodes that are the closest to a current aircraft location are identified....
