ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,415,629, issued on Sept. 16, was assigned to Honeybee Robotics LLC (Longmont, Colo.).

"System and method of ejecting a payload from an extraterrestrial surface" was invented by Anchal Jain (Los Angeles), Sean O'Brien (Kent, Wash.), Dara Sabahi (Longmont, Colo.) and Dean Bergman (Altadena, Calif.).
