ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,476,520, issued on Nov. 18, was assigned to Honda Motor Co. Ltd. (Tokyo).

"Rotary electric machine" was invented by Yasunari Kimura (Saitama, Japan), Yuta Kurosawa (Saitama, Japan) and Tsuneo Endo (Saitama, Japan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A rotary electric machine includes a rotor, a stator which is disposed at a predetermined interval in a radial direction from an outer circumferential surface of the rotor, a housing which accommodates the rotor and the stator, and an inflow passage through which a gas is supplied to a gap between the rotor and the stator."
