ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,305,302, issued on May 20, was assigned to Honda Motor Co. Ltd. (Tokyo).
"Water electrolysis system" was invented by Takumi Kawano (Wako, Japan), Yuta Hoshi (Wako, Japan) and Shoji Takasugi (Wako, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A water electrolysis system controls a power supply device for passing a current between an anode and a cathode in a water electrolysis stack, based on a hydrogen concentration detected by a concentration sensor provided in a discharge pipe at a location downstream of a pressure control valve."
The patent was filed on Dec. 6, 2023, under Application No. 18/530,433.
