ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,352,508, issued on July 8, was assigned to Honda Motor Co. Ltd. (Tokyo).
"Heat exchanger and method for manufacturing same" was invented by Tsuneo Endo (Saitama, Japan) and Yuta Kurosawa (Saitama, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A heat exchanger includes a partition wall that separates two fluids having different temperatures. A plurality of grooves having a depth of 100 micro metre to 400 micro metre are formed in a thickness direction of the partition wall on a first wall surface of the partition wall which is a surface on a side in contact with a fluid of the two fluids that has a lower heat transfer coefficient."
