US Patent Issued to Honda Motor on July 29 for "Table device" (Japanese Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,370,934, issued on July 29, was assigned to Honda Motor Co. Ltd. (Tokyo).

"Table device" was invented by Mitsuyoshi Nakamura (Tokyo).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A table device includes a first table expandable forward from a center console, and a second table expandable rearward from an instrument panel. The first table and the second table are configured such that end portions thereof are detachably cooperative with each other to form a continuous table surface extending in a front-rear direction."

The patent was filed on Oct. 11, 2022, under Application No. 17/963,608.
