ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 13 -- United States Patent no. 12,525,626, issued on Jan. 13, was assigned to Honda Motor Co. Ltd. (Tokyo).

"Fuel cell system and method for reducing vibration and noise of fuel cell system" was invented by Kazuhide Inoue (Wako, Japan), Kazusa Koga (Wako, Japan) and Takuto Nakagawa (Wako, Japan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A control unit of a fuel cell system opens a second valve at the time of closing a first valve, and maintains the same operating state of a compressor before closing the first valve and after opening the second valve."

The patent was filed on Feb. 22, 2023, under Application No. 18/112,638.
