ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,349,585, issued on July 1, was assigned to Honda Motor Co. Ltd. (Tokyo) and Utah State University (Logan, Utah).
"Pb-free perovskite materials for short wave IR devices" was invented by Gugang Chen (Powell, Ohio), Yi Rao (Logan, Utah) and Xia Li (Logan, Utah).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure is directed to methods of making Pb-free perovskites for short-wave IR (SWIR) devices and to various Pb-free perovskite materials disclosed herein.
