ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,272,908, issued on April 8, was assigned to Holland Electronics LLC (Ventura, Calif.).
"Uninterruptable tap" was invented by Michael Holland (Santa Barbara, Calif.) and George Goebel (Camarillo, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A coaxial tap in a hybrid fiber coaxial cable distribution system serves subscribers with an RF signal."
The patent was filed on Sept. 3, 2022, under Application No. 17/902,804.
