US Patent Issued to Holcim Technology on July 1 for "Asphaltic sheet materials including expandable graphite" (Indiana, Illinois Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,343,957, issued on July 1, was assigned to Holcim Technology Ltd (Zug, Switzerland).

"Asphaltic sheet materials including expandable graphite" was invented by Wensheng Zhou (Carmel, Ind.), Donald R. Kirk (Indianapolis), James Young (Indianapolis), Robert Anderson (Chicago), Joseph Standeford (Indianapolis) and Lance Black (Indianapolis).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An asphaltic sheet comprising an asphaltic component including an asphalt binder and expandable graphite."
