ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,252,994, issued on March 18, was assigned to Hochschule Darmstadt, University of Applied Science (Germany).

"Turbine assembly" was invented by Michael Cremer (Bad Kreuznach, Germany).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention pertains a turbine arrangement comprising a compressor, a recuperator, a combustion chamber with the combustion air supply, a gas turbine, a heat exchanger, an expansion turbine for expanding the vaporized working medium, and wherein the compressor, the gas turbine and the expansion turbine are arranged on a common shaft which is connected to a generator for generating electrical energy."
