US Patent Issued to HM.CLAUSE on May 20 for "Hybrid pepper plant named ALTATA" (Florida Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,302,852, issued on May 20, was assigned to HM.CLAUSE INC. (Davis, Calif.).

"Hybrid pepper plant named ALTATA" was invented by Bruno Bouffier (Naples, Fla.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A hybrid pepper plant designated ALTATA is disclosed. The disclosure relates to the seeds of pepper hybrid ALTATA, to the plants and plant parts of hybrid pepper ALTATA, and to methods for producing a pepper plant by crossing the hybrid pepper ALTATA with itself or another pepper plant."

The patent was filed on July 22, 2022, under Application No. 17/871,704.
