US Patent Issued to HM.CLAUSE on Aug. 5 for "Hybrid tomato plant named red coral" (California Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,376,554, issued on Aug. 5, was assigned to HM.CLAUSE INC. (Davis, Calif.).

"Hybrid tomato plant named red coral" was invented by Marcio Pais de Arruda (Davis, Calif.) and Michael Kuehn (Esparto, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A novel hybrid tomato plant, designated RED CORAL is disclosed. The disclosure relates to the seeds of hybrid tomato designated RED CORAL, to the plants and plant parts of hybrid tomato designated RED CORAL, and to methods for producing a tomato plant by crossing the hybrid tomato RED CORAL with itself or another tomato plant."
