According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A tactical harness system may include a harness and a pad. The pad may removably couple to the harness. The pad may removably couple to pants to prevent or inhibit the harness from shifting when the harness is worn by a user. The harness may include one or more equipment fasteners configured to couple equipment to the harness. The pad may include a fastener that may couple the pad to fasteners on the waistband of the tactical."
