ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,542,721, issued on Feb. 3, was assigned to Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP (Spring, Texas).

"Managing a cloud service" was invented by Stephane H. Maes (Sunnyvale, Calif.), Matthew Simon Newman (Sunnyvale, Calif.), Keith Kuchler (Ft. Collins, Colo.) and Thomas Goepel (Palo Alto, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A technique includes providing at least one service blueprint to orchestrate application programming interfaces to manage the lifecycle of at least one cloud service."

The patent was filed on Feb. 28, 2024, under Application No. 18/589,529.
