US Patent Issued to Hewlett-Packard Development on Nov. 18 for "Head-mountable display (HMD) virtual image distance adjustment based on eye tiredness of HMD wearer" (Taiwanese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,474,776, issued on Nov. 18, was assigned to Hewlett-Packard Development Co. LP (Spring, Texas).

"Head-mountable display (HMD) virtual image distance adjustment based on eye tiredness of HMD wearer" was invented by Hsiang-Ta Ke (Taipei, Taiwan) and Chin Ju Chiang (Taipei, Taiwan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Eye tiredness of a wearer of a head-mountable display is determined by a processor. The distance from eyes of the wearer of the head-mountable display to a virtual image displayed by the head-mountable display is adjusted by the processor based on the eye tiredness of the wearer of the head-mountable display that has been determined....
