ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,327,990, issued on June 10, was assigned to Hewlett-Packard Development Co. LP (Spring, Texas).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "In some examples, an apparatus can include a latch including a latch flange, where the latch flange includes a hook to interface with a housing, and a cable guide including a cable flange to interface with the latch, where the cable flange is secured in the housing when the cable guide is in a disengaged position, and the cable flange and the housing are to form a pathway when the cable guide is in an engaged position."
