ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,365,798, issued on July 22, was assigned to Henkel AG & Co. KGaA (Duesseldorf, Germany).
"Thermoplastic composition for 3D printing" was invented by Luca Mario Marchese (Arese, Italy), Fabio Angelo Spada (Carate Brianza, Italy) and Joerg Uebele (Steinheim-Hoepfigheim, Germany).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to a thermoplastic composition comprising an amorphous polyamide polymer for use in 3D printing, the respective use and methods for forming objects by 3D printing using the thermoplastic compositions described herein."
