ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,452,377, issued on Oct. 21, was assigned to Headwater Research LLC (Tyler, Texas).

"Service design center for device assisted services" was invented by Gregory G. Raleigh (Incline Village, Nev.), James Lavine (Denver, N.C.), Alireza Raissinia (Monte Sereno, Calif.), Justin James (Poway, Calif.) and Jeffrey Green (Sunnyvale, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A technique involves modular storage of network service plan components and provisioning of same.
