ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,451,746, issued on Oct. 21, was assigned to Hamilton Sundstrand Corp. (Charlotte, N.C.).

"PCB connector" was invented by Parminder Sangha (West Midlands, Great Britain) and Andrew Mclean (Halesowen, Great Britain).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A connection assembly for providing electrical connection of a multi-strand wire conductor to another component, comprising a printed circuit board, PCB, whereby the conductor can be connected to a conductive segment or track of the PCB which is also connected to the other component."

The patent was filed on July 1, 2022, under Application No. 17/856,127.
