"Ram air fan including additively manufactured heat exchanger insert" was invented by Craig Beers (Wethersfield, Conn.) and Brent Merritt (Southwick, Mass.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A ram air journal bearing shaft includes an additively manufactured body having a main body portion and a journal bearing portion. The main body portion and the journal bearing portion are coaxial along a first axis.
