ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,492,662, issued on Dec. 9, was assigned to HAMILTON SUNDSTRAND Corp. (Charlotte, N.C.).

"Fuel pump with built-in thermal bypass" was invented by Ryan Prescott Susca (Windsor, Conn.) and Ryan Shook (Loves Park, Ill.).
