ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,359,111, issued on July 15, was assigned to Halliburton Energy Services Inc. (Houston).

"Use of graphene as a cement retarder" was invented by Thomas Jason Pisklak (Houston), Samuel J. Lewis (Houston) and Claudia Pineda (Houston).
