US Patent Issued to Halliburton Energy Services on April 15 for "Metal sulfide scale dissolver for oilfield application" (Texas Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,275,890, issued on April 15, was assigned to Halliburton Energy Services Inc. (Houston).

"Metal sulfide scale dissolver for oilfield application" was invented by Alex Yi-Tsung Lu (Houston) and Zhiwei Yue (Houston).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method may include providing a treatment fluid comprising a metal sulfide dissolver and a base fluid. The metal sulfide dissolver includes a chelating agent, a boosting agent, a scaling agent, and a dispersing agent.
