ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,454,450, issued on Oct. 28, was assigned to Haier US Appliance Solutions Inc. (Wilmington, Del.).

"Leak detection of an autofill pitcher dispensing system for a refrigerator appliance" was invented by Joseph Thomas Waugh (Louisville, Ky.), Jose Rafael Padron (Louisville, Ky.) and Jordan Andrew Waymeyer (Louisville, Ky.).
