ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,449,317, issued on Oct. 21, was assigned to Haier US Appliance Solutions Inc. (Wilmington, Del.).

"Adaptable cooking appliance circuitry for controlling cooking accessories" was invented by Omar Santana (Louisville, Ky.) and James Lee Armstrong (Louisville, Ky.).
