ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,460,824, issued on Nov. 4, was assigned to Haier US Appliance Solutions Inc. (Wilmington, Del.).

"Gas cooktop with griddle assembly including temperature probe for monitoring failure modes" was invented by Paul Bryan Cadima (Crestwood, Ky.).
