ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,344,984, issued on July 1, was assigned to Haier US Appliance Solutions Inc. (Wilmington, Del.).

"Laundry appliances with customized features" was invented by Joshua Reeves (Louisville, Ky.), Sean Simpson (Louisville, Ky.), Stannard Nathan Phelps (Louisville, Ky.), Mary Joy Frances Cardilino (Louisville, Ky.) and Ryan James Scheckelhoff (Louisville, Ky.).
