ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,544,466, issued on Feb. 10, was assigned to HAI Solutions Inc. (Carlsbad, Calif.).
"Instrument sterilization device" was invented by Paul Swaney (Carlsbad, Calif.), Nicholas Perrenoud (Carlsbad, Calif.) and Adnan Abbas (Carlsbad, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Described herein generally are sterilization devices that can allow sterilization of surface(s) of instrument(s). Methods of using these devices are also described."
The patent was filed on Aug. 28, 2023, under Application No. 18/238,974.
