ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,467,038, issued on Nov. 11, was assigned to Hadasit Medical Research Services and Development Ltd. (Jerusalem).

"Methods of culturing human pluripotent cells" was invented by Benjamin Eithan Reubinoff (Moshav Bar-Giora, Israel) and Michal Gropp (Jerusalem).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A culture of human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs) is disclosed. In the culture, more than 50% of the hPSCs are formative hPSCs and are capable of renewing. Uses thereof are also disclosed."

The patent was filed on May 22, 2020, under Application No. 17/613,137.
