US Patent Issued to HAARSLEV INDUSTRIES on Sept. 16 for "Asymmetric rotor including a cutting edge and a pump that includes the asymmetric rotor" (Danish Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,416,307, issued on Sept. 16, was assigned to HAARSLEV INDUSTRIES A/S (Sonderso, Denmark).

"Asymmetric rotor including a cutting edge and a pump that includes the asymmetric rotor" was invented by Anders Svehag (Odense V, Denmark) and Lars Holton (Odense N, Denmark).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A rotor is shown with an asymmetrical structure for a pump, wherein the rotor includes at least one cutting edge and at least one rounded edge, as well as the pump as such including one or more rotor(s). The rotor (1) has a first circular element (4) where a material-moving cavity (5) is provided in the first circular element (4)."
