ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,372,518, issued on July 29, was assigned to H.U. Group Research Institute G. K. (Tokyo).

"Method for stabilizing extracellular vesicles" was invented by Tatsutoshi Inuzuka (Tokyo), Ayako Kurimoto (Tokyo) and Yuki Kawasaki (Tokyo).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention provides stabilization of an extracellular vesicle. Specifically, the present invention provides, for example, a method of stabilizing the extracellular vesicle including mixing an extracellular vesicle-containing sample with a saccharide and a chelating agent."
