ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,239,382, issued on March 4, was assigned to Gynesonics Inc. (Redwood City, Calif.).

"Controlled treatment of tissue and dynamic interaction with, and comparison of, tissue and/or treatment data" was invented by Amer Hammudi (Tracy, Calif.), Jiayu Chen (Palo Alto, Calif.), Harry Kwan (San Francisco) and David Blair Toub (Wyncote, Pa.).
