ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,457,945, issued on Nov. 4, was assigned to Grimm's Gardens LLC (Hiawatha, Kan.).

"Field drying method using subsurface irrigation systems" was invented by Koertland Beyer (Sabetha, Kan.) and Kurt D. Grimm (Hiawatha, Kan.).
