ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 13 -- United States Patent no. 12,520,870, issued on Jan. 13, was assigned to Gregarious Cigars LLC (Surfside, Fla.).
"Cigar case" was invented by Linden David Nelson (Surfside, Fla.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A cigar case opens in a clamshell manner and has a left side, a spine portion and a right side. A pocket on the left side and the right side can receive and hold multiple cigars in curved slots of a cedar wood spacer inside the pocket. The left side and right side have elastics to receive and hold accessories such as a cigar cutter, a cigar lighter and a personal cigar case."
