ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,365,401, issued on July 22, was assigned to Great Plains Manufacturing Inc. (Salina, Kan.).

"Controls for a work machine" was invented by Cameron Roehlk (Salina, Kan.), Jason Carlson (Lindsborg, Kan.) and John M. Relph (Abilene, Kan.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A compact work machine, such as a compact track loader and/or a compact utility loader, which can carry and operate a wide range of attachments while maintaining a reduced operating footprint."

The patent was filed on Dec. 8, 2023, under Application No. 18/533,682.
