ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,278,379, issued on April 15, was assigned to Graphenix Development Inc. (Williamsville, N.Y.).

"Anodes for lithium-based energy storage devices" was invented by John C. Brewer (Rochester, N.Y.), Kevin Tanzil (Rochester, N.Y.), Paul D. Garman (Pittsford, N.Y.) and Robert G. Anstey (Tonawanda, N.Y.).
