ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,471,597, issued on Nov. 18, was assigned to GOWAN COMPANY LLC (Yuma, Ariz.).
"Concentrated solutions of phytosterols and preparation process thereof" was invented by Paolo Bellandi (Carcare, Italy), Ilenia Fiorenza Mazzali (Novara, Italy), Elisa Galimberti (Lissone, Italy) and Claudio Dacarro (Milan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Concentrated suspensions containing phytosterols, in an amount higher than 25% by weight, in addition to a process for their preparation and their relative use as stimulants of plant growth."
The patent was filed on Jan. 7, 2024, under Application No. 18/406,174.
