ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,407,541, issued on Sept. 2, was assigned to Google LLC (Mountain View, Calif.).

"Multi-source smart-home device control" was invented by Benjamin Brown (San Francisco), Da Huang (Kitchener, Canada), Christopher Conover (San Francisco), Lisa Williams (San Francisco) and Henry Chung (Waterloo, Canada).
