ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,477,198, issued on Nov. 18, was assigned to GOOGLE LLC (Mountain View, Calif.).
"Closed loop photography" was invented by Dongeek Shin (Santa Clara, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Improved techniques of generating photographs using a camera or other image capture device includes the use of "soft" indicators such as haptics, audio, heads-up display, and other modalities to warn the user of a potential occlusion before a user activates a shutter trigger."
The patent was filed on June 14, 2023, under Application No. 18/334,585.
