ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,217,282, issued on Feb. 4, was assigned to Google LLC (Mountain View, Calif.).
"Advertiser campaign scripting" was invented by Varouj A. Chitilian (Hillsborough, Calif.), Ilya Netchitailo (San Jose, Calif.), Nikhil Bakshi (Mountain View, Calif.), Jiaqi Yu (Los Altos Hills, Calif.) and Chetan Patel (Fremont, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for automated management of campaigns using scripted rules."
