ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 11 -- United States Patent no. 12,547,759, issued on Feb. 10, was assigned to Google LLC (Mountain View, Calif.).

"Privacy preserving machine learning model training" was invented by Ananda Theertha Suresh (New York), Xinnan Yu (New York), Sanjiv Kumar (Jericho, N.Y.), Sashank Jakkam Reddi (Jersey City, N.J.) and Venkatadheeraj Pichapati (La Jolla, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for privacy preserving training of a machine learning model."
