ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,404,014, issued on Sept. 2, was assigned to GOODRICH Corp. (Charlotte, N.C.).
"Hydraulic motor start assist" was invented by Jason Bradley Allen (Waco, Texas).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A nose-wheel steering system is provided. The nose-wheel steering system includes a hydraulic motor including a drive shaft configured to rotate about a first axis; and a hydraulic motor start assist mechanism coupled to the hydraulic motor and configured to provide a temporary boost of hydraulic fluid pressure supplied to the hydraulic motor."
