ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,228,724, issued on Feb. 18, was assigned to Goodrich Corp. (Charlotte, N.C.).

"Modular reconfigurable optical systems for supporting multiple modalities" was invented by John Anthony Tejada (Londonderry, N.H.) and William Jeff McKinley (Westford, Mass.).
