ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,486,024, issued on Dec. 2, was assigned to GOODRICH ACTUATION SYSTEMS SAS (Vernon, France).
"Trimmable horizontal stabilisation actuator" was invented by Anh-Vu Abdul-Bari (Franconville, France) and Maxime Julien Florent Serrand (Lyons, France).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A linear actuator. The linear actuator includes a screw shaft. The linear actuator also includes: a nut assembly mounted to the screw shaft to move linearly along the screw shaft as the screw shaft is rotated; and a motor to rotate the screw shaft. The motor is an axial motor."
The patent was filed on Dec. 13, 2023, under Application No. 18/538,235.
