ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,308,691, issued on May 20, was assigned to GM GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY OPERATIONS LLC (Detroit).

"Discharge system for DC capacitors with active loss control" was invented by Chandra S. Namuduri (Troy, Mich.), Muhammad Hussain Alvi (Troy, Mich.) and Suresh Gopalakrishnan (Troy, Mich.).
