ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,358,390, issued on July 15, was assigned to GM GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY OPERATIONS LLC (Detroit).

"Customized charging protocols" was invented by Meng Jiang (Rochester Hills, Mich.) and Raghunathan K (Troy, Mich.).
