ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,286,119, issued on April 29, was assigned to GM GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY OPERATIONS LLC (Detroit).

"System and method for connected vehicle weather sensing" was invented by Richard Gordon (Rochester Hills, Mich.), Donald K. Grimm (Utica, Mich.) and Shawn F. Granda (Novi, Mich.).
