ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,287,358, issued on April 29, was assigned to GM GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY OPERATIONS LLC (Detroit).
"Current sensing apparatus" was invented by Alireza Fatemi (Canton, Mich.), Muhammad Hussain Alvi (Troy, Mich.) and Thomas W. Nehl (Shelby Township, Mich.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A current sensing apparatus may include a common mode core surrounding two or more current conductors and a current sensing element proximate the common mode core."
The patent was filed on Sept. 16, 2022, under Application No. 17/946,332.
