ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,359,378, issued on July 15, was assigned to Glydways Inc. (South San Francisco, Calif.).

"Roadway infrastructure for autonomous vehicles" was invented by Peter Jamtgaard (Chelan, Wash.) and Paul Jamtgaard (San Francisco).
